Lightweight Trousers

Re-discovered this thread whilst searching for something else (no don't ask) - what a classic.

I will donning some Regatta derivative copies complete with zip off facility later on account of the normal 'reach for trousers' (jeans) getting trashed recently on a dog walking gig.

I am hoping the St Michael boutique specials complete with their own brand of brush clean finish will cope better with 'formation close passes' (over enthusiastic Labrador) which recently resulted in my getting a 'seriously muddy bottom end'.

So anyone els thinking 'light weight' gear for Crimbo?

Ah yes, I know where you're coming from, there: if I had a pound for every time I'd had my pants ripped open in the undergrowth... I'd have to consider raising my prices.

Absolutely. I hear tell that £50 notes don't weigh much. It's a theory I'm keen to test.

Just a quick snap from the test site today - we had to stop to say hello to the horse as we love horses - or at least my test dog does.

Trousers were doing pretty well with mud and dirty water dropping off after labrador full pelt through mud and puddles until we met Billy the Terrier, who not only tried to bite test dog but then jumped up all over me - no lasting stains as far as I can see.
