Sounds like a far eastern porno... but it's actually Transformers meets Godzilla meets Avatar :)

At around 0:45, the ships' voice sounds a lot like GLADoS from Portal 2...

Edit: Quick check on imdb, and it's the same voice actress from Portal.

I quite enjoyed Battleship....

I wasn't expecting to, and it stretches belief beyond all limits but not a bad, fast-paced romp IMO.
Yes, I can hear you Clem Fandango.

I enjoyed both Battleship and Pacific Rim.

There is a time and place to watch big dumb action flicks, graze on popcorn and put your brain in neutral. (For me that time and place is as often as possible and that place is wherever I happen to be at the time ;))
BOOM
noun.
1. A deep resonant sound, as of an explosion.
2. A time of economic prosperity.
3. A sudden increase, as in popularity.

Battleship was ace, dreadfull, but ace. I especially liked the way you can make a battleship do a handrake skid by dropping the anchor...exactly like real life i'm sure

It was a difinite "remove all common sense before watching" film

I dont mind removing my belief for a bit with say, aliens, time travel, dinosaurs eating humans , but stuff that annoys me is like when a gun has a magazine that holds 5000 rounds, or a battleship that does a handbrake turn immediately the anchor is dropped, or that 3 people could man a ww2 battleship, Im like....cmon man?

You'll be looking forward to "Transformers: Age Of Extinction" in June then? Dinosaur Transformers :)
