I once bought a Digitexh synth pedal in the US then got home , plugged it into my power supply, there was a funny smell and that was the end of that. Never even heard it :/

USA to U.K. power

Before I post this I'm pretty sure the answer will be "yeah, sure, that's fine, dunno what you're worried about." If I buy a pedal in the USA can I just use a standard UK power supply or will I need some kind of step down converter? (Or just batteries?) The pedal I'm getting says "9v ...

Thanks gents - always a fountain of knowledge.

It's not for anything exciting, just my new band runs loops and some electronic bits so currently have a shonky bit of ply sitting on a keyboard stand. Would be nice to make it look at least a little bit professional :D

You know that cab paint, the textured black one?

What's it called/where can I get it from?

I should say that although this has left me feeling a bit miffed, this neck is some of the best money I've ever spent on my bass, and I would do it again.

I mean it's better than the original neck, cheaper than a replacement from MM and comparable in price to a Warmoth one.

Got a reply effectively saying they shouldn't rust as they're an alloy and if they have it's my fault for not playing it enough and I should clean it with some brasso!

I rubbed at all the frets to see if it was corrosion from elsewhere but it definitely looked like the frets. I've also checked my warranty, it ran out two months ago. I've emailed them, will see what they say... Such a shame as my bass is sooo much nicer than it was, I really dig the grap...

Just reviving this thread. I really like the graphite neck mod, probably the best mod I've ever had down. However some of the frets have started to go rusty :/ I feel like that shouldn't happen especially after just three years, and I do take care of my kit. Do you guys think it's worth arguing with...
