Warwick Thumb JD, now there's a bass to covet. I miss my two hugely (89 and 91 non JD) but it seemed like a good idea to part with them, at the time. Gotta love the Thumb NT tone and playability! Setup is vital I agree. A JD thumb was my GAS inducing dream bass since I first started playing. Then I...

Decided against the all valve route and went for the lightweight, portable combo option instead! Cracking little amp with lots of EQ options available. Not a very exciting NAD but I can see this combo being around a while. I did hook it up briefly to the 4x10 and it was huge - master didn't go abov...

The internet based companies didn't have agents in my area so I've had to go with local estate agents. It's bollocks because I've seen a Purple Bricks board across town and Wakefield aint that big. Anyhow, I've had a several viewings and everyone loves the place according to the feedback given to t...

Exactly, I'm always more in favour of versatility and I've always found that a mid heavy amp will only have one sound no matter how much you tweak it. I use the mids in my amp different rooms will need different sound settings and most time too much mids will complicate matters rather than solve it...

Surely the bAmp has onboard DSP for berg cabs - so if you get it does that mean the EAD is being replaced 3 months later?

PLayed through one of these last night https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CcogpNYW4AA6jd7.jpg ...in fact this very one. The 1x15 was very deep and a touch boomy on stage, but the amp sounded great - loads of headroom, had the Zoot sounding very nice indeed. Glad I don't have to carry it around though! Aww...
