I put Dunlop SB Nickels on the new Sandberg. Great strings. Dunlop are often overlooked methinks but they make some great strings.
Yes, I use nickel superbrights on my Zoot - keep sounding good for ages, too.

I've specced Dunlop flats on my build from Mike. Dunlop flats are a good flat/round compromise I find Richard. I was chatting to Mike yesterday and your name came up together with the 'usual suspects' :)

Realising that the Dunlop flats didn't fully compliment the tone of the Yamaha BB Peter Hook I tried fitting the SIT Foundation strings through body. Sadly they were a few mm's too short with the waisted porting of the string not quite reaching the nut. Not before I'd cut one sadly. I had some Newtone's handy and they seem great as an initial feel.

Unlucky Pete; weird that SIT didn't design them with string thru in mind. I really like the Foundations - I'll be putting up my verdict shortly.

I'll eventually put them on the Sandberg. I think they'll be great.

And... Foundations review up. Another winner from SIT in my book!

I've just swapped my previously cut set onto my Sandberg. I'll have a play this evening. Good impression initially.
