£300 is a lot to raise amongst so few active members I guess. Is there another option other than Facebook?

I do FB. I would hate to lose contact with people I know, respect and love to bits.

I'm even wearing my 'In Mod we trust T shirt today. Spike! A coincidence but a good one!

I am with all of the above. No matter how much I love this random group of grumpy old tarts I will not move over to the alternatives. Happy to contribute my share.
Finnbass.com - it has a certain, indefinable, double entendre quality about 't which ye canna quite put yer finger on.....

I don't mind chipping in again as well. The world would be a worse place without this place :).

Is it becoming difficult to manage?

Unfortunately, I'm not in a position to subsidise Finnbass anymore but I will obviously pay my share and continue to try and keep the spammers at bay. Looking at the number of people who have said they want to contribute I am guessing we would be looking at around £50 each. That's a lot of money but it should provide another three years hosting.

I will try and provide accurate figures once I can remember how to access Siteground.
Yes, I can hear you Clem Fandango.

Ok thanks for the breakdown Steve. You shouldn’t have to subsidise it.
But in the interests of openness I don’t have £50 to spare, I was/am very happy to give the £20 left in my PayPal account. I’m sorry for my Bob Cratchet state, but that’s where I’m at. I wish I could give more for Ken’s filth.
I’ve been a bit of a part timer recently.

But it’s a firm pledge nonetheless.

Cheers
John
