Barry Sheene - Ruined by a Donkey

Post by Steve »

There was a potentially interesting documentary on BBC2 last night about racing Legend Barry Sheene. Unfortunately it was utterly ruined because, in their wisdom, the BBC chose that donkey, Vic Reeves, to present it.

Why does everything have to be presented by a fucking 'celebrity'?

Steve Parrish took part, now why didn't they choose him to present it.
Yes, I can hear you Clem Fandango.

I didn't know he was still going? (Vic that is). I kind of liked Shooting Stars years ago but I cant imagine him presenting anything serious. Seems an odd choice.

A very odd choice IMO.

I would have enjoyed the programme if he hadn't been droning on all the time.

Liam Neeson narrating 'Road' was however spot on.
I'd rather have a life of 'OH WELLS' than a life of 'WHAT IFS.

He was presenting using his real name rather than his stage name. An attempt to re invent in a different role?
